Physical Description:
A chunky tom with long, thick fur. His coat has a bluish tint to it, with a paler underbelly and dark stripes. He also has lighter tufts of fur on his cheeks and legs. Under all that fur there is a particularly round and soft belly.
Personality:
Troutleap is the Clan goofball, a high energy cat with a knack for joking around. He loves friendly competition and games. When meeting new cats he quickly finds something fun for them to do together. This silly and carefree disposition makes him very easy to get along with and an easy interclan friend. This tom can be a bit of a handful at times, preferring to relax or joke around with his friends instead of carrying out his warrior duties. He doesn't seem to take hostilities very seriously. Border patrol threats go over his head as playful banter, and he will often play along in a joking manner, which only makes the situation worse. Troutleap loves catching fish, regardless of whether they are big enough to eat or not. His favorite activity is scooping little minnows out of the water to look at them before tossing them back. In warmer seasons he loves jumping into the Fishing Pool and splashing water on his Clanmates.
History:
As a kit, Troutleap was first out of the nursery, jumping around on the shoreline and swiping at minnows in the water. It take him too long to start swimming, and by the time he was an apprentice he could easily navigate his way through the stream in camp. He was more than a handful when his training started. Troutleap would always wander off or get distracted by something. He got lost once or twice chasing after frogs or looking for dragonflies, but after several scoldings he reigned in his antics. Once he became a warrior, he reverted back to his childish ways without a mentor to tell him what to do. As an adult it is difficult to discipline him, and it often takes a stern talk from Goldenstar to calm him down.
