Physical Description:

 A scrawny looking cat with very thin fur. His coat is a very mellow gold with darker accents and a creamy underbelly and socks. He has almost a fragile look to him. His eyes are often droopy or tired looking. He smells very heavily of flowers. 

Personality:

Flowerstar is a tired, introverted cat that enjoys spending time on his own. He is rather reserved and hard to connect with, but this does not mean he is not friendly. In fact, he is far from this, showing gratitude to his clanmates and neighbors by giving them flowers as tokens of his appreciation. It is believed that Flowerstar himself was the cat who started the gift giving tradition. He preferred to let his gifts speak for him. Flowerstar would often use gestures to communicate rather than talking, making it hard to follow him without paying very close attention. He was a very attentive and alert cat, always knowing what was going on around him. His observational skills went unmatched in the valley. Those who were close to him and got conversations out of him could attest that he was rather fond of telling jokes in a kind of tired way, especially in times of stress to alleviate tension. 

History:

The oldest of the founders, Flowerstar was the leader who dealt with the most difficulties in his short time with his Clan. His quiet nature made it a little difficult to lead, but he did so with all the strength he could muster. He was the first of the founders to leave for StarClan, though this was of no surprise to anyone, considering his poor health and already aging body. Flowerstar suffered the most trying to make sure his Clan could survive in their territory. The prairie is the most difficult environment to adjust to, and this adjustment does not come easily. Living out in the open put a great deal of stress on the already frazzled leader. Flowerstar's first death came in his exploration of areas near the edge of the forest, where he was stomped to death by two bucks locked together by the antlers in a dominance battle. His third life was lost to a poor meal. Leafbare in FlowerClan territory is harsh, and he resorted to eating a long dead bird, which made him violently ill. Flowerstar then lost is fourth life chasing after prey for his starving Clan, worming his way down an unstable rabbit warren, which collapsed on him and crushed him. His seventh life was at the fault of a rare venomous snake that had found its way into the territory- a prairie rattlesnake. Flowerstar was luring it away when he was bitten, but he continued to drive the snake away until it was across the border, at which point the venom had already worked its way deep into his system and the effects could not be reversed. His final life left him in a period of drought, coincidentally the same drought that brought a forest fire to TreeClan territory and took one of Treestar's lives. Water was hard to come by in FlowerClan and only so much could be brought back to camp. Flowerstar made sure his Clanmates drank their fill before himself, and in this selflessness he eventually died of dehydration.
